Did you know?

At one time, northern Minnesota was made up of volcanic islands & located on the equator. Most of it was undersea. So when you think of Minnesota, think "the other Hawaii". You bet.

In 1902

Eight baseball teams joined together to form the American Association. Two of them were the St Paul Saints & the Minneapolis Millers. We also invented kittenball (Louis Rober, 1895), later known as softball. Ya sure, we got sports.

Minnesota Music - a few artists & venues

I like most styles of music, but I really like blues & jazz, especially latin jazz, "smooth" jazz & vocal jazz. These links focus on those interests. As a result, this is a very small subset of the vast dynamic variety of music found in Minnesota and from musicians that have roots here. Many of the artist pages have music clips for your listening pleasure. Check them out!
